Sorry I’ve been away lately! I have been busy planning the show, now dubbed my first “At Home Vintage Market”. My new friends from “After While Crocodile“, “Take Flyte Farm“, and “Unique Antique” will be joining Rare Bird Boutique to sell their vintage wares at the June 29th event. If you would like to shop the Austin area vintage market, please comment and I will send you a private invitation (with location info).
With the market ahead of us, we decided to get some home improvement goals crossed off the list. I already knocked out repainting the backyard fence boards and we just laid down black porcelain tile in the kitchen & bath this past weekend. All we have to do now is trim out the floor and paint the baseboards along with some other little to-do’s.
Now for the other big reveal… A new look for Rare Bird Boutique and it couldn’t have come at a better time! Thanks to Casey from “The Crafty Missus” for referring me to Bailey over at “Let Birds Fly“. I got with Bailey in the Spring and we’ve been collab’ing on a fresh new look for my Etsy shop ever since. She captured just what I wanted by being extremely thorough.
I met with Bailey and went over the detailed questionnaire she had me fill out beforehand. Also, I created a Pinterest board for her to view with all of my design interests/influences. In no time, she pulled all of that info together and whipped up the perfect branding package for me, at an affordable price:
What do y’all think? I highly recommend her design services. Bailey is a great gal with a multitude of talents under her belt. She’s also a photographer, blogger, traveler, & so much more. You can check out her fabulous blog to see it all!
Thanks again to my friends for joining me at the vintage market and to Bailey for my lovely new shop look. I couldn’t be happier!
